Dietary profile: allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, and diets you choose to enter. Menu photos: images you capture to scan a menu, processed on your device whenever possible. Account information: your name and email if you create an account. Usage data: general analytics such as app crashes and feature usage, collected anonymously.
How We Use Your Information
We use your dietary profile solely to generate personalized menu verdicts. We use account information to sync your saved restaurants and preferences across devices. We use anonymous usage data to improve app reliability and features. We never sell your personal or dietary data to third parties.
Data Storage and Security
Your dietary profile and menu photos stay on your device by default. If you choose to back up your data, it is encrypted in transit and at rest. We apply industry-standard safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party providers for optional cloud backup, crash reporting, and customer support. These providers only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their function and are contractually bound to protect it.
Your Rights
You can view, edit, or delete your dietary profile at any time from within the app. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us at hello@wellforall.co. You can disable optional cloud backup at any time.
Children's Privacy
MenuCheck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
